This will be a quickie, as we’re headed out of town today to attend a friend’s wedding. (And you know it must be a really good friend if I have to TiVo the UEFA Finals on Sunday.)
Thanks to you all for your birthday wishes, and especially to those who took the trouble to send gifts and cards. I had a wonderful day, brought down to earth only by the fact that I spent two hours of it on the phone – ironically – with the phone company. I promise I’ll get to e-mails and questions next week; I’ve been a little swamped this week.
Last night I was a guest speaker at the Creative Commons Salon at the Found Gallery here in Los Angeles. I was glad to see KOOKs represented in the audience, including Jaynie, Margie (and her daughter Alexis), Eileen and Parlance. I’ll write some more about Creative Commons, and why I released HP under a Creative Commons license, in a separate post. If you want to know more in the meantime, do check them out at www.creativecommons.org.
And last, thanks to all of you who have written such nice reviews of HP on Amazon, iTunes and CD Baby. Please keep ‘em coming! Not only do I appreciate your kind words, but it really does help to encourage others to give the music a listen, which in the end is why I do this.
Until next week, I’m taking my new Kindle and heading out with the family.
